M+Y was formed in 2012 and is based in Albuquerque, NM. Office leadership, having practiced architecture for other nationally and internationally known organizations, created M+Y to specialize in educational and institutional projects. Our office prioritizes commitment to not just design excellence, but also a process excellence – we work to make sure that both our design team and our clients are well taken care of throughout our collaboration.

We are currently looking for intern architects to join our team in our 15-person office in Albuquerque, NM! Key Responsibilities

Leadership in production of design deliverables, including but not limited to field surveys, concept renderings, schematic plans, product specifications, and construction documents
Lead multiple project teams on work ranging from master planning and design research to programming and site analysis
Provide administrative leadership for projects, demonstrating strategic understanding and execution of project deliverables
Produce accurate and timely work according to weekly workplans and directions – work should demonstrate a comprehension of design intent, budget, and schedule
Maintain time management, organization, and quality control standards

Qualifications

3+ years of professional experience, licensure preferred
Completion of a professional degree in architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
Excels in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office
Strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Curious, proactive, and flexible

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the production of design deliverables, including but not limited to field surveys, concept renderings, schematic plans, product specifications, and construction documents
Collaborate across multiple project teams on work ranging from master planning and design research to programming and site analysis
Provide administrative support for projects, including setting meeting agendas and documenting minutes, participate in office marketing activities, and creating and updating project schedules and logs
Produce accurate and timely work according to weekly workplans and directions – work should demonstrate a comprehension of design intent, budget, and schedule
Maintain time management, organization, and quality control standards

Qualifications

0–2 years of professional experience
Currently enrolled in a professional degree in architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch)
Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office
Strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Curious, proactive, and flexible
