UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO CORONADO HALL RENOVATION

M+Y's work on the renovation of the ENMU Coronado Hall dormitory included the renovation of 254 dormitory rooms, the retrofit of an old elevator, the addition of limited access lifts to make the 1950s building completely accessible, and most importantly, the redesign of shared restroom and shower rooms. For the first time at UNM, non-gender-specific restrooms were required, and M+Y pioneered the code approach to this in New Mexico.
