In 2020, Roosevelt General Hospital selected McClain + Yu to complete a Hospital Master Plan project. The project also included the design and construction of a 15,000 SF Infectious Diseases Clinic (IDC) and an Administrative Offices (AO) Addition. McClain + Yu worked with a complete understanding of the existing Hospital building and provided planning locations for the future Operating Room Suite Addition, the IDC and AO Additions, a new heliport and pilot’s quarters, two new vehicular entrances to the hospital campus and a doubling of the Hospital’s current vehicular parking capacity.

Completed in August 2021, the IDC and AO Additions complement the existing hospital campus by referencing the existing campus architectural expression but also providing selective contemporary detailing. The facility features select negative air patient rooms to control biological agents, two lobbies, ample patient and staff restrooms, a Board Room, numerous private offices, break facilities and a staff training room.
