UNM NEW MEXICO MUTUAL CHAMPIONS TRAINING CENTER GRAND OPENING

UNM Athletics celebrated the grand opening of the UNM New Mexico Mutual Champions Training Center located on the north side of the school’s Tow Diehm facility. This new training facility for UNM Division 1 and Olympic athletes has a total of 11,312 SF of equipment space, providing athletes with a motivating space to train and challenge their physical health and capabilities. The facility will replace a temporary training facility housed in a large tent near the school’s athletic department offices. The new training center features two levels: a 9,774 SF weight-training floor and a 1,538 SF cardio mezzanine that overlooks the main training space. Just beyond lies an expansive view of the UNM Lobos football field and Sandia Mountains. From its roof, Lobos fans have an elevated patio with unobstructed views of the Lobos games. On game days, the Lobos will enter the field through the ceremonial pathway scribed into the New Mexico Mutual Champions Training Center building, fan spirit mounting with lights and music... Go Lobos!

UNM NEW MEXICO MUTUAL CHAMPIONS TRAINING CENTER

UNM Athletics is active in creating the NEW - New Mexico Mutual Champions Training Center, a 15,000 SQ. FT. facility for the topic of the arts, athletic training for the LOBOS. This building is located inside the university Stadium, beyond the south end-zone. With construction expected to take 10 months for completion, the facility will extend from the Tow Diehm facility, providing space for all UNM Athletic programs, as well as additional spectator seating above. We are excited to see how the LOBOS will use this space and how it will benefit their athletic training! Go LOBOS!

ENMU GREYHOUND ARENA

Re-roofing of both the ENMU Greyhound arena and main building has now been completed! With its original completion in 1967, the Greyhound Arena has stood the test of time, with major renovations in 1988, 2006, and again in 2012. Considered one of the finest NCAA Division II athletic facilities in the Southwest, the arena is home to the ENMU volleyball, men’s basketball, and women’s basketball teams. More than 4,800 Greyhound Nation fans can watch games in the horseshoe-shaped arena and we’re happy to welcome them back with a newly-renovated roof!

ROSWELL HIGH SCHOOL

New additions to the athletic areas of this high school is greatly anticipated. The students and community have waited a long time for the upgraded field facilities. We hope the Fighting Coyotes are finding their new den to their liking!

ROSWELL HIGH SCHOOL TO EXPAND THEIR ATHLETIC FIELD CAMPUS

Roswell, NM. FIGHTING COYOTES can soon boast of expansive athletic fields campus at Roswell High School. This will be an epicenter for football, soccer, tennis, baseball, field and track, band, festival events. New accessible routes, parking and circulation will be implemented to facilitate concurrent events. Get ready for Friday Night Lights! 

ENMU NATATORIUM IS FULL WITH ACTIVITIES!

The University pool is a critical addition to campus living and the community at large. We are excited for Portales to be able to re-utilize the campus pool in its full capacity! Hope to take a dip the next time we are down there!

ENMU NATATORIUM RENOVATION

McClain + Yu designed the renovation – including a complete overhaul of the locker room facilities for improved circulation, finishes, lighting, and accessibility. Careful attention was given to a faithful restoration of the original pool mosaic tile signage.  Additionally, the locker room, pool deck and edge are being refinished. The Facility is scheduled to re-open in May 2017.

ENMU STADIUM OPENING DAY!

We're excited to announce ENMU's new Greyhound Stadium is set to open September 10th. This has been an amazing project, and we are happy to have been part of it!

Our team is just as excited as the Greyhound team to see earth being moved, place being made for the future home of the NEW ENMU STADIUM.
